Asturias International Photojournalism Conference 2026
Asturias, a region of imagery and visual thought: EIFA2026 has established itself as a leading cultural, professional and educational event in Asturias. It features a programme of activities and exhibitions running from September to October. The main event takes place from 1 to 3 October.
EIFA 2026 is set to be an event characterised by substantial growth, both in terms of its exhibition programme and its scope and international reach. It thus consolidates its position as an event that combines photographic exhibitions, round-table discussions, lectures, screenings, educational workshops and cultural activities across various venues in Asturias.
The 2026 edition aims to strengthen Asturias’ position within the national and international circuits of photography festivals, visual journalism and contemporary culture, with a focus on Europe, Latin America and major global debates.
The programme runs from 15 September to 20 October, with the main events taking place from 1 to 3 October.
The activities will take place in urban areas, cultural venues and educational centres: the Port of Gijón, the Paseo de Begoña, the Old School of Commerce, the former Jovellanos Secondary School, the School of Hospitality and other venues across the region.
