Volunteering.

The event relies on volunteers to help run its activities. Volunteers assist with customer service, provide support in the venues, accompany guests, provide information at the venues, offer logistical support and assist with cultural and educational activities.

Volunteering is a direct way of experiencing the Encuentro from the inside and contributing to a cultural, social and civic project.

Network and partner organisations.

The Festival is organised by a network of partnerships linking public institutions, social organisations, humanitarian organisations, professional associations, universities, educational centres, cultural venues, the media and stakeholders involved in photojournalism and critical culture. This collective approach enables the promotion of an open, pluralistic project with strong local roots, bringing together knowledge, professional experience and social commitment.

The Asturias International Photojournalism Festival is organised by Red Internacional B -Live and is supported by sponsors, funders and collaborating organisations such as Médicos del Mundo, the Department of Culture of the Principality of Asturias, the Directorate-General for the 2030 Agenda of the Government of the Principality of Asturias, the Asturian Agency for Development Cooperation, the Caja Rural Foundation and the Atenéu Obreru de Xixón, amongst other organisations that help to make the project possible.
